Calendar and Field Trips

Open House:  Facility tours are available upon request.

Weekly Program Schedule:  Our program runs weekly, beginning on Monday, June 17, 2019, and ending on Friday, August 9, 2019. Campers may come for any number of weeks. Campers will go swimming once a week and will go on a field trip once a week.

Field Trips and Activities:
Please note:   All field trips are subject to change.  Please check with the camp staff each week to confirm dates, times, and destinations.  Our 2019 Field Trip Schedule includes the destinations listed below! Parents will receive a swimming and field trip schedule upon weekly registration.

Parents:  Parents who wish to attend any field trip must pay a background check fee of $11 and complete a background check form through the camp office.  Background checks will only be processed once the fee is paid and the form is filled out in its entirety.  Parents must complete the background check process at least one week before the field trip.  Arlington Summer Blast Camp only covers the field trip costs of enrolled campers.  Parents will need to contact the camp director regarding pricing.  Since seating on the bus is limited, we suggest that you contact the camp well in advance.

Weather related school delays and school closings policy:

Arlington Baptist School will follow the Baltimore County School System for weather-related school closings, late openings, and early closings.  If the Baltimore County Schools are opening late due to inclement weather, then ABS will be opening late as well.  You will be able to get this information on WJZ Channel 13, WBAL Channel 11, and through parent email or text.
